The Advanced BIG Write and VCOP Teacher Training – Level 2 programme is designed for educators who have completed foundational (Level 1) training and are ready to deepen their understanding of writing instruction. This programme focuses on training teachers on different writing genres that will help them expose their students to a variety of writing styles, purposes, and structures. Each genre teaches students how to communicate effectively in different contexts and for different audiences. The Writing Criterion Scale helps teachers assess student writing in a more structured, consistent, and meaningful way. Rather than focusing only on marks or grades, it provides clear criteria that describe what quality writing looks like at different levels of achievement.
